Blessed Thistle


Scientific Name: Compositae Cnicus benedictus



This herb has been used in the treatment of liver ailments, cellular degeneration and inflamation of the respitory system.

Other Names: Bitter Thistle, Carbenia Benedicta, Cardo Santo, Cnicus benedictus, Holy Ghost Herb, Spotted Thistle, St. Benedict's Thistle
  • Increases and enriches mother's milk, especially when taken with red raspberry leaves
  • Stimulates glands (liver and reproductive)
  • Promotes sweating
  • Stimulates appetite
  • Helps with female reproductive problems
