Apple Crisp

6 to 7 apples, peeled and sliced (Granny smith is what I use)
1 tbs. Cinnamon
1/2 teas. salt
1 cup flour
1/2 cup butter
1 1/4 cups sugar
9 x 13 Baking Pan ( I use Glass)

Peel and core the apples, then cut into wedges. Put them in the pan and coat with the cinnamon, salt and some of the 1/2c  of the sugar. Mix well.

Put the flour, butter, and sugar in a mixing bowl and use a pastry cutter to chop it together, you want it lumpy, not like batter. Then spread over the top of your apples. Bake at 350º for around 45 minutes until its brown and bubbly. Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
